Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as a child as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio, where she continued her interest in the theatre. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in the theatre in the Chicago region for a couple of years, before attempting her hand at TV as well as film roles. In 1992, Anna landed her first big role as Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. In the early 90s she appeared as a regular actor in both film and TV including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. The mid-2000's saw her was placed in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. The show was recast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully was another of her roles. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. She also had a role in the play Numbered Day. It is a podcast consisting of four audio-based plays. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's life tale and the tension in his relationship with Skyler is mirrored in the television show.
